Obituary of Margaret Grace Holmes

Margaret Grace Holmes, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg at the age of 86. Born in Dresden, the daughter of the late George and Vida Viola (Greece) Wellman. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Holmes. Loving mom of the late Wendy Slack (Dave), Rod Holmes (Tammy), Lonnie Holmes (Tammy), Mike Holmes (Sandra), Susan Huff (Jim), Jennifer Johnston (the late Stan) and Todd Holmes (Barb). Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Doug (Butch) Wellman (Mary), Helen Allen (the late John) and Wilma Wellman. Predeceased by brothers Bill Wellman (Audrey), Glen Wellman, Gerry Wellman (Bernice) and sister Betty Hackett (Charles).  The Holmes family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.  Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada.
