Iwanchun: John Joseph, a resident of Florence, passed away at the C.K.H.A., Chatham Campus on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the age of 79. Born in Rochfort Bridge, Alberta, son of the late Michael and Martha (Taschuk) Iwanchun. Beloved husband of Loretta (Young) Iwanchun. Loving father of Rick Iwanchun (Marg), Steve Iwanchun (Valerie), Penny Bourgeois (Ian). Proud grandpa of Joe (Jen), Jenna (Brian), Mikita, Danielle (Christian), Brandon (Rachel), and the late Matthew (2008) and great-grandchildren Emile, Kase, Mason, and Keagan. Dear brother of Vicky Fraser (Gary). Also survived by a niece and 4 nephews. Predeceased by his sister Olga Keech (2013) and her late husband Roy (2005). At John's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at 544 Florence Road, Florence. Interment of cremains at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
