Beamish: Elisabeth Ann "Betty" (Marcus), a resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the age of 85. Born in Zone Twp., daughter of the late Andrew and Maude (Goodyear) Marcus. Betty owned and operated Bothwell Manufacturing with her husband Ross for many years. She was a member of the Bothwell United Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Mecca Chapter, Ridgetown. Beloved wife of Ross Beamish. Loving mother of Doug and Laura Beamish of Mississauga, David and Janet Beamish of Bothwell Joanne and Gord McDiarmid of Ridgetown, Catherine Dusten of Blenheim, Sandra and Rob Vanderydt of Bothwell. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Catherine and Christina Beamish, Jason (Katharine), Amanda (Adam), Kimberly Beamish, Stewart and Laura McDiarmid (Lauren), Heather and Donald Dusten, Shayna and Riley Vanderydt and great-grandson Kaius Beamish. Dear sister of Eva Rankin of Port Lambton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son-in-law Scott Dusten (2005), sisters Jean Ashton, Alta Marcus, Doris Price and brothers Lewis Marcus and Harold Marcus. The Beamish family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. An Order of the Eastern Star Service will be held on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Annalee Kerr of the Bothwell United Church officiating. Interment Bothwell Cemetery.
