Jean Joseph Deschenes a resident of Dresden, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 61. Born in St. Leonard, NB, son of the late Antonio Elude and Leona Cecile (Soucy) Deschenes. Beloved husband of Susan (McCorkle) Deschenes. Dear father of Lyndi and Joel. Beloved oldest brother and brother-in-law of Charles & Laurraine Deschenes, Cecile & Brian Fox, Paul & Janet Deschenes, Leo & Dawnise Deschenes, Marie & Mark Ramsden, and Janet Deschenes and the late Guy. Loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, the McCorkle family and friends. Predeceased by nephews and great niece. The gift of God is eternal life. Jean has left this earth to receive his eternal life. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle, 240 Queen St., Dresden on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
