Obituary of Jim Benedict

James "Jim" Benedict, a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Park Street Place, Dresden at the age of 88. Born in Auburn, New York February 25, 1930. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Jean (Hay) Benedict. Loving father of  Sandra Benedict of Thamesville.  Greatly missed by his dog Inka. Jim was an avid fisherman, hunter and trapper. He was a long time resident of Metcalfe, Ontario. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St, Thamesville. A special thank you to Kathy Cowell, Billie-Jo Marsh, Lorri Gibbons, Tony Fisler, Tammy Clancy, Sabrina Clark, Jade Daley, all the staff of Park Street Place, CCAC, Bayshore, VON and Dr. Jones and his staff.  Cowgirl don't cry.
