Obituary of Frans (Frank) Vriesema

It is in Love that our Lord has taken our father, grandfather, great grandfather and Husband, Frans (Frank) Vriesema home on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Frank was born April 8, 1929 in The Netherlands, son of the late Johannes and Evelina (Meidema) Vriesema. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Wilma and his five children Fred, John (Joanne), Evelyn Steckley (Dave), Robert (Rita) and Richard (Kelly). Proud grandfather of Joshua (Roberta), Charles (Julie), Dan (Tanisha), Janelle (Paul), Mike (Shae), Stacie (Dave), Denyse (Fraser), Renee (RJ), Nicole (Mike) and Aimee (Joe). Sadly missed by his great grandchildren. Also mourning his loss are his step-children, nieces and nephews. Frank is predeceased by his first wife Elsie, daughter-in-law Glenda, son-in-law Keith and brother Cornelius. Family and friends will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Friday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Dresden Christian Reformed Church, 956 Mooney St., Dresden on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. Private Family Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
