I remember you from way back in the early 80s while I was babysitting your son Darren and daughter Lisa. I was pregnant then from my first child. Your mother learned me how to make mukluks and when you came back from hunting you gave me some of the hunt. I have good memories of you and your kind family. Rest in peace... Marijke Danckaerts

Here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we knew Allan as :Jim -The Magnificient"! Jim visited us with the Ganienkeh Territory Delegation back in 2010. In the short time he met my family here, there was a bond with Jim and immense respect for his abilities. I met Jim at Ganienkeh on 2 separate trips and called him about 2 months ago - he was doing well.
Today, he is looking over all of us - his family, friends and his beloved Ganienkeh Territory. We will continue to cherish the wonderful memories with Jim and his stories of Indian heritage and culture. Jim was proud of his heritage and Culture and was an inspiration to all.
Jim's memory will live forever because he will be remembered when citizens of Ganienkeh sit around the eternal fire or whenever there are meetings and celebrations in the Longhouse.
Jim's good spirit and teachings will live eternally.

Heart felt condolences to the family of Allan, May he rest in peace and forever be in the hearts of his loved ones. If I am recalling correctly, Allan, Pat, and some of his close relatives went to Ridgetown Public school with me and some of my family, back in the very early 60's. Rest in Peace my friend.

Good Morning family of Mulghun ge tah - Allen's given name as he was adopted by the late Annie Ned - Ado deh mah= spirit name (Yukon) - Crow Clan - I was raised by Annie Ned - my biological grandmother. When Allan came to work and study with her she took the responsibility seriously and accepted him whole-heartedly. I hold Allan in high esteem - I know his work here in the earthly realm is done for now. I strongly believe his work from the other side, along with my grandmother's work, will continue. He was always so honorable in his work here in Yukon. He brought awareness of the sacredness of our spirituality to light, when it was still a challenge. Allan worked with many many people while here in Yukon. Thank you to your family, to Lisa, Darren and to their mom Sharon for bringing Allan North to share with us his knowledge, his skills, his love and laughter most of all. I am saddened by his passing and will miss my consults with him.
May creator guide and protect you all during this sacred time of Allan's walk into the other world. Muci Cho, Shaw'ne than. Prayers for all.

Allan, Jim, Curly haha is very near and dear to me. He was my rock in every sense of the word, like a grandfather, someone I can talk to about anything and he was also an integral part of my healing journey. I love him very much, and already miss him. Sending love and prayers to his friends and family.
