Adkin: George a resident of Dresden, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the age of 91. Born in Camden, son of the late Rupert and Belle Adkin. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Chinnick) Adkin. Loving father to Ron & Linda Adkin, Keith & Cathy Adkin, Ken Adkin & Lori Norton Adkin. Loved grandfather to Tammy Pulley, Kim Lorentz (Matt), Kayla Adkin, Kyle Adkin, Spencer Adkin, Kelly Adkin (Nathalie), John Adkin (Melanie), Scott Adkin (Rebecca). Proud great-grandfather to Brennan, Aiden, Brady, and Avery. Dear brother of Ray Adkin and the late Christina. Predeceased by sisters and brothers-in-law Verlyn & Ed Churcott and Mildred & Russell Steele. The Adkin family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St, Dresden on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Dresden Cemetery.
