Obituary of Kenneth Roger Rose

Rose: Kenneth a resident of Bothwell passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury at the age of 84. Born in Dover Township, son of the late George and Kate (Love) Rose. Beloved husband of Velma (Gilbert) Rose. Loving father of William Rose, Elizabeth & Philippe Morin and Barbara Rose (Wolfgang Vincenti 2013). Cherished Poppie of Carter and Austin (Mother Lois Williams), Alexandra and Gabrielle Morin. Dear brother of Doug & Marion Rose. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Ellen Mortier, Dick & Ruth Gilbert, Evelyn Patterson, Shirley Gilbert and Jean Gilbert. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Elva (Gordon Shortreed), Jess (Ray Pare and Ted Brown), Beulah (Jim Radcliffe) and June; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Murray Gilbert, Glen Gilbert, Eldon & Mary Gilbert, Jean & Gerald Jones, Nora & Perc Herbert, Bert Mortier and Ross Patterson. The Rose family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Annalee Kerr officiating. Interment in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Bothwell United Church or charity of your choice.
