Stephens: Lee, a lifelong resident of Harwich Twp., passed away peacefully at the C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Monday, March 29, 2010 at the age of 90. Born in Harwich Twp., son of the late Frank and Jean (Wood) Stephens. Lee was a member of the Tecumseh Sydenham Masonic Lodge No. 245, A.F & A.M., Thamesville, and the Ahcom Shrine Club, Chatham. Beloved husband of 70 years to Mary (Williams) Stephens. Lee is survived by a sister-in-law Jean Stephens of Chatham, a brother-in-law John Williams of Chatham, and nieces Bonne Sloan (Ralph), Beth Tedford, Barbara Spicer, Becky Borst (Bob), and a nephew Bert Stephens (Wilma). Predeceased by a brother Albert Stephens, a sister Nellie Mae Strittmatter and a nephew Bill Stephens. The Stephens family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 1:30pm with Rev. Anita Sipos officiating. Interment Bethel Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the St. James Presbyterian Church, Thamesville or Bethel Church and Cemetery.
