Obituary of Linda Ameel

Ameel, Linda (Prout) (nee: Boothe) a resident of Thamesville passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 59. She was born in Mosa Twp daughter of Elizabeth (Ray) Boothe and the late George Boothe. Beloved wife of Dell Ameel. Loving mother of Bill Prout (Sherry) of Ridgetown, Tammy and Scott Fisher of R.R.# 3 Bothwell and Dell's children Todd Ameel (Julie) of St. Thomas, Tammy Richards (Dave) of Dresden, Tracy Vanderlip (Mike) of Ridgetown. Cherished grandmother of Rachel, Derian, Rylee, Gavyn, Tyler, Colin, Riley and Sadie. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Elizabeth DeBaene (Wayne), Emily Daly, Sus Daly (Brian), Pam McCullough (Ron), Georgina Lang (Rob), Kathy Gehl (Dave), Jim Boothe (Carolyn), John Boothe (Donna), Joe Boothe (Amy), George Boothe (Lana) and Lori Boothe. Fondly remembered by mother-in-law and father-in-law Marcel and Simone Ameel of Ridgetown. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Bob Boothe and brother-in-law Albert Ameel. Friends and family will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m.and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Anita Sipos officiating. Cremation with interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date.
