Obituary of Ernie Meyer

Meyer, Ernie a resident of RR #2 Croton passed away suddenly on Friday, February 4, 2011 at his residence at the age of 80. He was born in Scherz A.G., Switzerland, son of the late Jakob and Marie (Schaffner) Meyer. Ernie owned and operated Meyer Brothers Masonry with his brothers and son for many years. Beloved husband of the late Katherine "Kathy" (Jenkins) Meyer (1999). Loving father of Jason and his wife Michelle Meyer of R.R. # 2 Croton. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Haley, Taylor, Sebastien, and Andrea. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Heinz and Lotti Meier-Meyer of Dresden, Willie Meyer of R.R.#2 Croton and Cecil Meyer of Switzerland. Predeceased by his brothers Jake Meyer (1999), Albert Meyer and sister-in-law Irene Meyer (1998). Friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Sunday afternoon from 1-4 p.m and Monday, February 7, 2011 from 12pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:30pm with Mrs. Bonnie Harvey officiating.
