I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Richard’s death. Seeing him every day, dropping off kids at JMSS was always a pleasure. His smile, his wave, was always uplifting and genuine. I always thought of Richard as a gentle giant - especially when he would greet me at a church event.
I am so sorry for your loss. I pray his love, his kindness, his humour, and all your happy memories will forever be with you.

I met Richard a few years ago as he dropped students off at St. Vincent School where I teach. Richard was amazing with the students he drove - always so sweet and patient! Richard brightened my mornings with his kindness and our nice chats. He showed a particular interest in my own son who Richard found out is going to school to be a pilot. Richard asked about my son almost every time I saw him - he was genuinely interested! He was a remarkable man- one I feel so blessed to have had the privilege to visit with a couple times each week! He will be missed! prayers and sincerest condolences to all of you
