To All of the Balmer Family:
I was so sorry to hear about Violet's passing. She was one of the sweetest kindest ladies I know. Whenever my friend Donna Walker and myself visited we always had such a great time talking over all the problems of the world some of them we thought we solved and of course others we didn't even try then we always had a good laugh over that.
She will be missed so much by all her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult and sad time.

I have so many fond childhood memories staying on the farm during summer vacations. Aunt Violet, already busy with her own 3 children, always welcomed my brother and I. Helping her in the garden, gathering eggs, running clothes through the old ringer washer (1), watching in amazement her preparation of a jelly roll for Ridgetown Fair (along with many other entries of baked goods and vegetables from the garden), drying dishes after McIntyre Christmas dinners -- all cherished moments. She was a kind and generous lady who will be deeply missed -- deepest sympathy from Lilliebelle, Gloria, Bryan & Vern

I always remember your Mom having a big garden that she shared with many people. She lived to be a wonderful age and also pretty well until these last few years. We use to do her hair years ago. I visited with her at the village, but I not sure she remember who I was. Sending sympathy to all of her family.
