Obituary of Annie Margaret White
Annie Margaret (Richardson) White passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the morning of December 28th at the age of 87. She was born on May 3, 1932 on the family farm in Turin, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (McPhail) Richardson. She is predeceased by her husband W.R. White, and a sister Jane (Richardson) Sinclair.
She was a member of the Dresden United Church, the Dresden Housewives, she sold Tupperware and Creative Stitchery and was an avid gardener, tole painter and quilter. If you are in possession of any items that she crafted, she shared her love with you.
She is survived by her children, Jim & Dawn White, Donald White, Susan White and Ed & Kari White. She was the loving grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother to 12 with another expected in the spring of 2020. She also leaves behind her siblings Mary (Richardson-Sinclair) & Ken McFadden, Charles & Barb Richardson and numerous nieces and nephews.
The White family will receive friends and family members at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St., Dresden for visitation from 12:30 - 1:30 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel immediately following the visitation and the interment of ashes will be held following the service in Dresden Cemetery. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice or Park St. Place Resident Council Committee so that they can enjoy future entertainment.
