Doug was a classmate of mine for 3 years at St. Clair College. He was an all-around good guy and a great hockey player, who got the winning goal to clinch the Intramural Hockey Championship for our class team "The Turkeys". I have great memories of him, and the other "Dresden boys".
Though I didn't see him often, when we did get together it was like old times, and we'd pick up right where we had left off.
Our deepest condolences Deb, to your family, to his extended family and to his many friends and colleagues. May good memories comfort you during this difficult time.

Deb, Chelsea and Matt,
We were sorry to hear of Doug's passing at such a young age. He will be missed by many as he was a very a great guy to get along with. We have missed him being out and around our farm at planting and harvest time.
He was a good athlete and most of all he was always a team player. If you played on a team with Doug he let you know that there was no "I" in team and he was adamant about that in any sport he played.
Deb, remember all the good times as there were many.
