So very sorry to hear of Gary's passing. He was always good to me. Helped me get my first car; a lemon yellow Maverick. LOL. I worked for him at Gary's Truck Repair in Orwell and of course Betty was my first cousin so it was a family thing too. My deepest sympathies. Thinking of you all and my fond memories of Gary. So sorry for your loss ... keeping your entire family in our Thoughts & Prayers during this very difficult time.Just remember to hold all of your precious memories near in your heart and always remember he is watching down over you.God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, nor sun without rain but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way.
Take Care,
Todd, Lesa
and Family

I worked at Laidlaw on the switchboard and then in recruiting! When I hard his name, I instantly remembered who he was! I remember him always being so friendly and kind and stopping to have great conversations with me, and that's a good memory to have! Thinking of the family during this difficult time.

The trucking world has lost a legend. When I worked for Laidlaw, Gary had a chair at my desk. The other drivers called it the Gary chair. He came for a visit whenever he was in the yard and despite his gruff exterior, was a very sweet man. He always asked about my family and took the time to get to know me. Gary always told me that if he died in his truck he would die happy. I am heartbroken, but glad that he went on his own terms. My condolences to the family he leaves behind.

True legend in the business of trucking and hauling tankers. Ran many a trip with this man. Many a story. Many an adventure. Words can’t be said of how I miss his daily calls to see what mischief I was in or what I had done. Always there to help me or to listen. I spent many a day listening to him. Always a great story teller. Rest easy my friend. We will continue on trucking. I will keep visiting the truck stops you showed me where a great meal was to be found. Condolences to all who knew and loved him. I’ll see you Again my friend. Moose says goodbye for now
