Theresa, I am so glad that I met you as you were a blessing in my life, the sister I never had. You and Leona met me at an auction in Thamesville and we became close friends. Everywhere we went the Labadie girls were known by all in the horse world and every livestock venue in this area. You were one of the most intelligent and kind people I have ever met. My mom was blown away that you girls had the lawn tractor hanging off the tractor and pulling off the blades the first time she met you both. Your love for your animals was beautiful and you always worked so hard and did not ask for help a lot. I will miss you so much even now I turn each day after work to head to Babcock to see you and then remember that you are gone to be with your father, mother, brother and sisters. I always would run into someone who knows the Labadie girls. You never failed to amaze me from going up on the roof to fix nail pops to hauling logs out of forest and cutting them up for firewood well into your late 80's. Even when you lost your license your drove your kobata to Thamesville and Bothwell even though I offered to take you time and time again. You were a fighter right up until the very end. You taught me so much in the time I knew you and I will miss you so much. I am sorry all I could do was cry on our last few hours together I wanted you to be free of pain but I wanted you to be well and that was not to be. I have video of you chain sawing down trees at my farm and you taught me to do so as well. Everytime I was with you we laughed and enjoyed so much together. I will miss you so much my dear Theresa my sister in soul, but I will see you on the other side some day. You were such a light to those at Babcock nursing home and they treated you like family and for that I am so grateful.

Theresa proudly worked hard, loved her horses and critters, loved to socialize and share a wholesome meal with friends. She is missed, as are Leona, Delina, Adlore and Mama who were good neighbours over the past 30 years.
