Uncle Wilfred will be missed dearly. I have lots and lots of great memories from childhood thru adulthood of my Uncle. I treasure all the great times I spent with Uncle Wilfred, Aunt Jean, Betty, Nancy, Larry and Cathy. He inspired me and helped mold the man I'm today. May he rest in peace in heaven with all our family. My prayers and thoughts are with all our family for the loss of our last member of Hazel/Daniel Solomon children. I am truly heart sicken. Will visit as soon as the boarders are open.

Dear Family
I regret not being able to attend Wilfred's showing as I am fighting an infection.
He was a great man of God and I respected him greatly. Many times I would come home and Wilfred and Dad would be chatting in the car port of our home. He didn't stay long but my father always enjoyed him stopping over.
He was prominent in the church at First Regular Baptist Church in Dresden and helped it grow to be a candle in this community. Thank you for all your hard work. We wouldn't be where we are without you.

Kindness, gentleness, and acceptance are the gifts he shared. His subtle sense of humour and peace made him a blessing to grow up around. Although he was a younger brother to my father he was often "consulted" over the years for many discussions, fix it and electrical project advice. R.I.P uncle. I have many fond memories of you and all my uncles and aunts. Many from years and years ago. Time seems so very slow when I think of you and all the family. I am sorry that I could not spend time with you during the last years of your life. I will always remember the earlier years of my life with all my uncles , aunts, and grandparents on the farm. Uncle Wilfred and Aunt Jean’s home was like my home in Canada throughout my childhood and adulthood extending to my husband and children. Looking at Uncle Wilfred was like looking at Grandpa, they looked alike and had the same mannerisms.
May God’s comfort be with Aunt Jean, Betty, Larry, Nancy, the many grands, and extended family 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

Our sincerest condolences to Jean and all of the Solomon Family. Wilfred was a wonderful, nice and gentle soul. I will always remember having him come over to my house many times, the house he built, and tell me many things about the house, do some electrical work for us and have a great visit.
