Obituary of Elsie May Blackall

Elsie May Blackall, a resident of Chatham, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 96. Born in Chatham,  the daughter of the late Percy and Nancy (Parker) Stanton. Beloved wife of the late Bill Blackall. Dear sister of Abbie Northcott (Donald). Loved aunt of Nancy Meredith, Beth Isles, Barb Charron, Louise (the late Jim) Wood, Dawn (Rick) Hopkins and Trish (Tim) Mailloux. Sadly missed by many great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by brother Edgar Stanton (Marion).  Elsie worked for 24 years at McCalls Drugstore, she was a volunteer and cub leader. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family service with interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at a later date.  If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
