Obituary of Sandra Joyce Meness

Meness, Sandra Joyce, a member the Delaware First Nations, Moraviantown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus at the age of 79. Cherished mother to Kevin Meness of Moraviantown, Sonya Whiteye (Joe) of Michigan, the late Shayne Meness, Jason Meness of Moraviantown. Grandmother to Jennifer (Dan), Rochelle (Joshua), Loraleah (Jason), Cody, and great-grandmother to Winter, Korben, Layla, Ivy, and Greyson. Survived by her sister-in-law Emma Logan. Predeceased by brothers Howard Logan, and Louie Logan. The Meness family will receive friends and relatives at the Moraviantown United Church on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the Moraviantown United Church, 22617 Centre St., Moraviantown on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, those wishing to attend the visitation and or funeral service must reserve a spot through contacting the family directly (Jason 519-365-0729 or Sonya 1-586-533-0634) No one will be permitted without a reservation. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask and social distance. Interment to follow at Moraviantown Cemetery.
