Obituary of Verna Pauline Chalcraft

Chalcraft: Verna P. (Yacks), a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the age of 85. Born in Chatham Twp., daughter of the late William and Delina (Matte) Yacks. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Chalcraft (2009). Loving mother of Ross and Kelly Chalcraft of Dresden, Pauline and Mark Davis of London, Evelyn and George Nute of West Lorne, Bruce and Yvonne Chalcraft of Thamesville.  Loving grandma of 14 grandchildren and  18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of, Miami Fader, Winnie and Roger Cadotte, Allan Yacks, and Carol Yacks. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Sally (infant), Alice Alexander, Jean Alexander, Gladys Lozon,  and brothers George, Cecil, Ted, Stan, Bill., Vic, Morris, Harvey, and Russell Yacks;  sisters-in-law Gloria, Margaret, Marilyn, Joyce, Christine, Clara and Mabel Yacks and brother-in-law John Fader. A Private Family service will be held at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville. Interment Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
