Obituary of John Steven Makarich

Makarich: John Steven, A resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the age of 79. John was born in Jonquiere (Arvida), Quebec to the late Imbro and Ana (Bastasic) Makarich. Beloved husband of the late Linda (Hauspie) Makarich (1995). John is survived by his son Michael Makarich, and his grandchildren Adam, Cayla, Michael Jr., Exavier, Maurice, Valentina. Dear brother of Mary Kennedy (Michael), and brother-in-law to  Rita  Gardiner (Ron). Also survived by Aunt Kate Hauspie, a nephew Darin Fisher, a niece Alicia Pardy (Andy) and their families. Predeceased by brothers Carl (2018), sister-in-law Mary (2010), James (2015), nephew Frank Germek (2017). The Makarich family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, those wishing to attend the visitation must sign up for a scheduled time at https://signup.com/go/JEVXyty. No one will be permitted without a scheduled time. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask. Interment St.Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell.
