Thanks to everyone who wrote a condolence message for our mom, Sally.
Mom was, for Steve and me, the best mom we could ever have had. After our dad died and she was a single parent, she still did so much for us. I will always be grateful to her for taking us on camping adventures, walks in the woods and along the lake, tobogganing excursions, tennis and badminton outings, and so much more. One of the valuable lessons I learned from her was to make the most of life, especially by looking at the best side of things.
Thank you, Mom, for all you did for Steve and me. We think about you a lot, we miss you, and we will always remember what a great mom you were.
With love today (your birthday) and always,
Jan, and Steve (Barnwell) too

My sincerest condolences Jim and families. Hard to believe she is gone. She was such a dynamo and a wonderful friend all the years I knew her. We shared many movies together shedding a tear or two and even more bridge, domino and pepper games.

I am so sorry to hear of Sally's passing. I first met Sally at the "over 50" exercise group. I always enjoyed the coffee group conversations with Sally and her stories of her early life. She was so positive and active - I once told her she was my model for making it into by 90's with all my faculties, I only saw her a couple of times last summer sitting on the porch in the afternoon and pursuing the weeds in the boulevard in front of your house. My thoughts and prayer are with you and all the family. Donna Dickson.
