I'm am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Vanrabaeys passing. She was such a bright light when she spoke to you, you felt better just by talking with her. I remember her well. My mother and I worked at the lunch counter in the sales yard, and she was always kind when she seen us. The last time I seen her was with Brian at the Thrashing festival. She was delighted when she saw I could use sign language. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.

Ron, Brian, Tom, Joanne, Gail & families - We are sorry to learn of your mom's passing. Any time, we saw her she always had a friendly, welcoming smile on her face. She took time to ask how everyone was doing and when asked how she was, "Oh, I'm fine as well". She will be missed by many, but not by as much as all of you will miss her. Sorry for the loss of your Mom. Always had a good time with her, when we would go to Dover for supper at the church with Velma driving, Gloria in the front seat because she would get car sick and your Mom and I in the back seat chatting up a storm. She and Velma sure did enjoy rehashing their Dover days, and their Chatham school days. Sorry I could not get in for visitation, ever since Covid, those days have changed. My family has so many memories of Pat and also Edgar. Her meals for staff at the Sales Yard were legendary! Nobody was ever turned away or left hungry. Huge roasts were often the fare. I think of all the work she put in “feeding the World”!

Our condolences to the Vanrabaeys family at the passing of a lovely lady. My thoughts and prays are will you all. Memory of Mrs. Vanrabaeys was making lunch everyday for her kids and staff. As a regular Purolator driver (Kelly) I always knew where to find the customer.
