Obituary of Donald Allan McFadden

Donald Allan McFadden, a resident of Tupperville, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Park Street Place, Dresden at the age of 89. Born in Chatham Township, the son of the late Bruce and Loretta (Lozon) McFadden. Beloved husband of  the late Elva (Robinson) McFadden. 

Don was a proud farmer his entire life and enjoyed discussing and staying current on farming topics. In his younger days, he was active in his community and enjoyed many euchre games, local ball games, skating on the river and contributing to church and community projects. He was Grandpa Don to many over the years, but especially his loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a kind and generous man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Loving father of Brian McFadden (Jill), Sandra Secord (the late Rod), Susan Badura (Paul) and Barb Walker. Cherished Grandpa Don to Lauren Doyle (Brad), Erica McFadden, Tyler Secord (Katie), Randi Anderson (Ryan), Evan Badura (Jen), Chanel Barry, Justina Walker (Khalid). Fondly remembered by 11 great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Marg Dunlop (Richard), Bonnie Martin (Don) and Willa Schurter (the late Barry). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Dave McFadden (Donna), Carl McFadden (Donna), infant brother Bruce  McFadden and step-brother Ernest McFadden (Hazel).

The McFadden family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM. A private family funeral service will be held with interment in Dresden Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Dresden Community Church or charity of your choice.
