Loosemore; Shirley Elaine a resident of Lighthouse Cove, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 79. Born in Petrolia, daughter of the late Gordon and Marvelin (Wagoner) McLachlin. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Loosemore (2016). Loving mother to Janice Gairdner (Ken), Joyce Brosseau (Jim), James Loosemore (Carolyn Robinet), Jill Loosemore (Phil Belanger). Cherished grandma to Royce (Taylor), Rochelle (Jeremy), Joshua, Jared (Rachel), Jamey (Danielle), Michelle (Patrick), Nicholas, Justin, and great-grandma to Harrison, Ainsley, Aubrey, Indie, Eli, Beau, and Bella. Dear sister to Harold McLachlin (Deb), Doug McLachlin (Judith), and sister-in-law to Nancy Evoy (late Dale), David Loosemore (Kim), Allan Loosemore (Janet), and Donna Loosemore. Predeceased by her grandson, Ryan Gairdner (2022), brothers, Gordon Wagner (Eileen), Gary McLachlin (late Margeuritta), Manley McLachlin (late Shirley), and sister-in-law, Judy Loosemore.
The Loosemore family will receive relatives and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Friday from 1:00-3:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Alvinston Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Those wishing to leave an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society.
