Our Sincere Condolances to all, she was an amazing Woman, whom we so enjoyed at her apartment across the street from us. Always had a lovely smile and hearty wave. And we could see her out doing her walk every day, no matter the temperatures or conditiond. Nice nice Lady.

Magdalena often talked about the “Old Country” sharing the hardships and struggles along the way. Very similar to my family’s history I said “That’s where you get your strength and resilience! She smiled and said Yes and I have No regrets only Gratitude. And I am grateful to have known and cared for Magdalena at Babcock. I cherish her wisdom. Her life well lived….I will think of her often…..
My Heartfelt Sympathy to all ❤️

I wish to tell Magdalena's family how sorry I am with her passing. I also wanted to tell you how grateful I am to have met this beautiful soul, who taught me so much about patience, gratitude and humility. It was my total pleasure to have helped in caring for her during her time at Babcocks. It was always a happy time seeing her, she was grateful for every little tiny thing done for her. She often said "If I could do it, I'd do it myself". And I believed her!
I cried when she passed, but those were selfish tears. She told me the beginning of December that she wanted to go and see her Mom. She now has that chance, and I know she is getting the glory she deserves. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful Mom and Grandmother with us.
Rest in Sweetest Peace, my friend Maggie Mae ❤

My condolences, Diana on the passing of your mom at such a marvelous age of 101. When I saw the obituary, I thought this Magdelena Coone must be your mom. I so enjoyed reading the story of her life here in Canada which was a testament of hard work and determination. We lost touch since High School, but I have often wondered of you.
