Remembering Lois. There are many good memories of my husband Lloyd's cousin. She was such a kind and friendly nature. There were many times when we were younger that we visited Lois and her family on the farm near Blenheim as well as other family gathering back in the day especially picnics at Rondeau Park. May she now be at peace after such a long illness and may her family find comfort knowing how well and thoughtfully they cared for their Aunt Lois.

Many fond memories of visiting the Weavers. So very blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting many years ago. So remember when I met Terry how important it was for him to introduce me to John & Lois they were like his ‘other’ set of parents. We knew that before we left we were going to get a spot of tea around the kitchen table and some goodies. Terry RIP/April 16, 2023 so enjoyed drinking a cold beverage from the vintage set of glasses that were coloured metal. May they all reunite and give us guidance & strength to continue to live our lives like she/they would like us to.

Although I had not seen Lois in many years, she is top of the list for the "Mom" role models I had growing up. Lois saw me for who I really was, she saw the little girl that didn't really fit anywhere but she didn't care. She was always kind, always had a smile and would talk to me. I remember my first sleepover at her house (she was an excellent sitter), she was so excited to have a girl in her house that usually only had boys (John Sr. & John Jr.). She made sure there was not a dull moment, ever and was an excellent cook/baker. It wasn't always about play though, she would have thought provoking conversations with me and I think that was one of her greatest talents. She put you at ease as soon as you were in her presence. Throughout the years, from a child to an adult with a family of my own, she was always "Mom" to that little girl that didn't really fit in anywhere. Kind, gentle, and full of love.
The world has definitely lost an Angel.
May you soar high in the heavens with your son and husband.

Sorry for your loss. I remember visiting with my mom and dad as they played cards and us kids play games. She will be missed.
