My sympathies to the family of Mrs Cajka-she was a lovely lady and great conversationalist!
She was a friend to my mother Ella Fabok and my aunt Beatrice Skolnik-my cousins Irene and Helen and my sister and I occasionally went to visit her when she was still on the farm -always had pastries and cookies waiting for us!
Loved listening to hear her stories when she came to Canada in part Slovak and English!
She really was a great lady!

Sorry to hear of Toni's passing. She was such a lovely person. She is back with the Red Hat Gals, Whenever I gave Toni's , Melba and my mom Helen a ride somewhere, she would always give me some of her baked goods. She will be remembered for her cheeky smile.

I have known Toni for over 50 years and cannot believe I will not see her wonderful smile on my next visit home. Her creame rolls were the best!! I send my deepest condolences to Allan and the family in their loss. She was a real life force and will be missed by so many. We have so many warm memories of Toni. From the weekly trips to the hairdresser, the garage sales we frequented and the many meals we shared, to her and Phyliss flying out to visit us in Salmon Arm when Jan was ill. To Allan, Elaine and family,
We have many fond memories of your mom “Toni” during our pastoral time at Charlemont. Quite often she would attend our evening services with some of her other friends. We certainly did have opportunity to sample her famous cream rolls and other delicious treats.
We still recall how she affectionately referred to her husband as “My Charlie”.
She was a dear friend and supporter of our ministry while we were at Charlemont. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. It was, and still is, a privilege to have had “Toni” as part of our life journey.
