So sorry to hear about Alf. Condolences to Nancy and the entire Weaver family.
I worked with Alf at Metaldyne for close to 25 years. Thinking back over the years I first met Alf back in the 1970’s in the tobacco fields. We had loads of fun racing around the fields when the day was done. He had a Pontiac astra and I had a Chevy Vega. It’s amazing what we remember at a time like this. RIP Alf

I was lucky enough to work with Alf at metaldyn for 13 years. He was the guy that always had a smile on his face and willing to help anyone anytime. He was kind,funny, and as professional and proud of his job as he could possibly be. When Alf left your machine you knew it was fixed. I don't recall ever seeing him upset and Heaven knows many days he had the right to be. In short, he was among the finest people l have ever had the privilege to call my friend.
