Johanna Ovecka, a resident of Croton, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus at the age of 78. Born in Austria, the daughter of the late John and Frances Pavlinak. Beloved wife of Edward Ovecka. Loving mom of Richard Ovecka (Tracy Richmond), Russ Ovecka (Sherri Larose) and Randy Ovecka (Mark Kerruish). Proud grandma of Annette Doskas (Chris), Christopher Ovecka (Alicia), Shelby Ovecka-Richards (Greg), Mark Ovecka (Victoria), Steven Ovecka (Braidyn), Morgan Ovecka, Chantelle Jones (Brad), Daniel Ovecka (Samantha). Cherished great grandma of Lilliana, Cohen, Brylee, Cambree, Keegan, Brantley, Kristian, Erikson, Talina, Jareth, Lillith and Damian. Dear sister of Ernest Gruberbauer (Leona), Willy Pavlinak (Ruth), Carolyn Collins (Bill) and Carmen Eskritt (George). Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Julie Callow (Randy) and Mary Pavlinak. The Ovecka family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
