Obituary of Gordie Prangley

Prangley: Gordon Dale "Gordie", a resident of Florence, passed away at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Sunday November 12, 2023 at the age of 70. Born in Chatham, son of the Late Helen Prangley (Stewart). Gordie worked at Comptank till he retired due to some health issues, he made many friends there. Gordie loved all children, he enjoyed spoiling them with treats, telling stories, and giving rides on his golf cart. Dear brother of Murray Prangley (Pam), Mary Jean Hill (Brian), George Prangley (Cathy), Will Prangley (Deanna). Predeceased by his brother Larry. Cherished uncle to Chad (Janice), Derek (Tara), Matthew, Kim (Jesse), Ryan, Kendra, Michael (Emily), Nicholas (Danica), Carissa (Lee). Sadly missed by 17 Great nieces and nephews. Also missed by his extended family Nate & Jen, MacKenzie, Hunter Sewell and his furry friend Oakleigh.  At Gordie's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Gordie's Life will be held at the Thamesville Legion, 32 Victoria St, Thamesville, on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Interment of cremains in Shetland Cemetery at a later date.
