Obituary of Stan Mahood
Mahood: Stan, a resident of Dresden, passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the age of 86. Born in Wallaceburg son of the late George and Ida (Middleton) Mahood. Stan was a plumber with the UA527 Pipe Fitters Union for many years. Beloved husband of Shirley (Williston) Mahood. Loving Father of Kelly Martin (Tom), Colleen North (Mike), Stuart Mahood (Cindy), Amanda Labadie (Mat). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Nicole (Al), Gregg (Colleen), Tiffany, Kevin (Cassandra), Scott (Megan), Stephanie (Mike), Kristin (Tarik), Samantha, Erica, Max, Paige, Cole and great-grandchildren Seth, Ethan, Caitlin, Leah, Nathan, Preston, Claire, Hunter, Taylor, Sophie, Lilly, Amy, Hannah, Hallie, and Cyrus. Predeceased by a grandson Adam, and his sister Shirley. The Mahood Family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Thursday January 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Cremation will take place with Interment in Riverview Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Dresden Community Food Bank (c/o 29043 Community Rd, Dresden, ON N0P 1M0) would be appreciated.
