We have known John for many wonderful years, coming to our wedding and going to dances together, all wonderful memories to hold on to. We recently had a special visit with John and Betty, sharing stories of days gone by, laughs to no end. He was the best grader operator for the County on Lambton, meticulously shouldering the roads with perfection, a man proud of his ability and work. We will miss him and our hearts are with Betty and the family.

Sorry Jeff and I could not be there for your final breaths or a well lived life. You and I had a wonderful talk Wednesday night and Thursday morning where I told you that you were a great dad to all us kids and everything that I did was to make you proud. I realize you have no more pain and know you are sailing the higher seas with me, more than you would in the Thames in that aluminum fishing boat! We will continue to take care of mom and the farm. John got me into fishing.He was the best. He usually came over to our place on the farm to see us. I caught pike in a net on our property and he showed me how to clean them. I will always remember his laugh. I really looked up to John. He was an amazing man.
