Obituary of Ron Blake
Blake: Ronald Edwin "Ron", passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chathamin his 74th year. Born in Wallaceburg, son of the late Edwin and Hazel (Belanger) Blake. Loving husband and best friend of Jennifer Hurst. Cherished father of Lance Blake (LeeAnn) and Tracy Keirsebilck (Gary) and step-father to Natalie (Michael), Tyler (Stephanie), and Matthew. Loving "Papa" to Adam (Hannah), Michayla (Kyle), Jeremy, Tyler (Jessica), Markus (Allison), Jamie, Charlotte, and great-grandchildren Kaius and Axel. Fondly remembered by his siblings Ken, Arlene (Jack), Rob (Anne Marie), Shirley (Ron); sisters-in-law Stephanie, Melissa (Vaughn), Rachelanne (Late Erwin), and mother-in-law Ruth Dudley (Late Cecil). Also survived by the mother of his children Muriel Blake. Uncle Ron to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Wayne Blake. Family and friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Cremation will take place with Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg at a later date. Donations to the Thamesville Sertoma Club (c/o 104 Railroad St, Thamesville, ON N0P 2K0) or the Thamesville Threshing Festival would be appreciated.
