Obituary of Fred Vriesema

Frederick "Fred" Vriesema, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at his home at the age of 71. Born in Chatham, the son of  the late Frans and Aaltje (DeVries) Vriesema. Predeceased by is his wife Glenda (Dekker) Vriesema and a grandson. Survived by his children Joshua Vriesema (Roberta), Charles Vriesema (Julie), Daniel Vriesema (Tanisha) and Janelle Sloetjes (Paul); 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings John Vriesema (Joanne), Evelyn Steckley (David), Bob Vriesema (Rita) and Richard Vriesema (Kelly). Family and friends will be received at the Dresden Christian Reformed Church 956 Mooney St., Dresden on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 AM. The funeral service will follow at  11:00 AM.  Private family interment in Wyoming Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Karis Community Initiatives (Formerly Christian Horizons, Canada).
