My sympathies to Viv, Greg, Fraser, Kim, and families. Kent and I had a great relationship through Lodge and the Shrine and we will all miss him for sure. We shared a lot of laughs and he always fascinated me with his knowledge of local history. It is always sad when a community loses a great person like Kent, but his memory will carry on for those who knew him. Rest in Peace my Friend and Fraternal Brother. Till we meet again.

My sincere sympathy to you at this time of Kent's passing. I met Kent many years ago at a Masonic function {probably a Ladies Night))., Kent was the ultimate ticket seller.. He was always so pleasant, and had remarkable ability to remember names, faces, and details about people. He was one of a great generation, to put his shoulder to the wheel and get things going. and done And there are many community testaments that he had much to do with, but never sought any recognition. I was only at his home once, but I was so impressed at his great love and respect for the history of his farm and his home, and the satisfaction of being able to carry it on. A great man has left us, but his good works will continue for a very long time. I smile as I think about him and Doug and other Masonic friends already talking lodge.
