I had the honour as a volunteer at Riverview Gardens to sit with Max when is family needed rest. I was able to learn so much about this incredible man. The walls showed a tribute of love, love of farming and the love of family.

Our hearts go out to each and every one of Max’s and all who loved him. I have many fond memories of working with him and his brothers on the farm.I would drive the tractor while he pitched sheaves onto the wagon for my Dad to stack.I remember him teaching me how to run the blower on the thrashing machine to build a nice uniform straw stack.
One thing stood out to me about Max is that when you talked with him you could sence that he genuinely cared about you and your wellbeing!
