Obituary of Herbert John Vankoughnett

Herbert John Vankoughnett, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 76. Born in Kingston, the son of the late of John and Dorothy Vankoughnett. Herb is survived by wife Susan (Hooper); sons Jeff (Barb), Herb, George and Danny (Kari); 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Rita Doom and Theresa Yacks; brothers George and Bill; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Rose McFadden, Carol Kay, Betty McDonald and a brother Robert. A private family interment will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Dresden Cemetery.
