My sincere condolences on Charlie’s passing. I have some great memories of watching and listening to him and my Dad , standing by Charlies pickup out in the driveway with a litter of piglets negotiating a final agreed price. Charlie was truly a shrewd business man! Also, in my early twenties we spent some great times working on our martial arts skills and travelling and attending many weekend tournaments. He was indeed a skillful opponent. He will be missed by many.

My memories of Charlie go back to our high school years when Charlie and I and a couple of other guys played cards in Miss Freederman's storeroom the year the High school opened in Dresden in 1953 or the teen dances at the old arena.
