Obituary of Douglas Wayne Phaneuf
Phaneuf: Douglas, a resident of Thamesville, passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the age of 63. Born in Windsor, son of the late Arthur (2007) and Eleanor (Desjardins) (2012) Phaneuf. Doug is survived by his brother Dr. Ronald Phaneuf (Jimmie) of Colorado; sisters Barbara Naismith of Windsor, Rosemary Rolston (Robert) of Huntsville, Carol Phaneuf of Windsor; nieces and nephews Kristy (Marty), Laura (Joe), Jay, Paula (Nat), Cory; great-nieces and nephews Katelynn, Emily, Alex, Carter, and Owen. A special thanks to Dr. Danielle MacNeil and her medical team for the special care Doug received. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 9 Alice St.,Thamesville on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 11AM with Fr. Ray Lawhead as Celebrant. Interment St. Paul`s Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation (Head and Neck Cancer Centre) or the O.S.P.C.A would be appreciated by the family.
