Obituary of Marion Holmes

Holmes: Marion (Perritt) a resident of Chatham, passed away at the Chatham Retirement Resort on Monday August 31, 2015 at the age of 85. Born in Thamesville, daughter of the late William and Olive Perritt. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Holmes (2001). Loving mother of Melanie and William Abel of London, Kevin and Lisa Holmes of Bowmanville. Loving grandmother to Kylie and Sarah Holmes and Nicole Abel. Dear sister-in-law of Roy and Norma Holmes of Thamesville, Harold "Pat" Holmes of Bothwell, Erwin Holmes of Wabash, and Erwin Myers of Thamesville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Leta, Myrle Bridgette (Ab), Verlyn Paling (Ivan), Ila Brownlee (Ira); brothers Orlo (Leola), Ivan (Jean), Alvin (Kal) and sisters-in-law, Norma Hooper (Jack), Doris Scratch, Elda Myers, Joanne Holmes, and Irene Holmes. The Holmes family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville, on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1PM with Elder Jim Perritt and Donna Scherer of the Community of Christ Church officiating.
