Yacks: Christina Marie formerly of Dresden passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the age of 79. Born in Sarnia, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Prince) Passingham. Beloved wife of the late Morris Yacks (2007). Companion to Fred Greene of 4 years. Loving mom of Dale & Garry Howes, Kimberley & Larry Borian, Bonnie & Paul Wolfe and Tammy & Drew Woodcock. Sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Anne Frayne, Bob, Birt and Jerry Passingham. Predeceased by son Ronald Yacks, sister June White and brothers William, Ted and Wayne Passingham. Cremation has taken place. The Yacks family will receive friends at the Dresden Community Church on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 11 am until the time of the memorial service at 12 noon. Interment of cremains at a later date.

I was shocked when I got a call telling me your Mom passed away.It had been years since I saw your Mom & your late Dad.Grief is very hard & it's not something that children & Adult children should have to face when a parent passes away.Children sometimes don't understand death but we as Adults do & it is harder on us,because we have the tasks of looking after things once our parents are gone.I remember your Mom being one of the nicest people I had met & your late Dad was a joker..Your Mom has now gone home to rejoin with your Dad in Heaven.My thoughts,Prayers & Sincere & Deepest Sympathy is extended to you today as you grieve the loss of your Mom..May God wrap is loving arms around you today as you reflect on the memories you all shared with her throughout the years.May you all find strength in him to carry on.Remember she will always be with you in spirit & she will live on in the hearts of you, your children & grandchildren.My memories I have of your mom I will treasure forever.

I was so sorry to hear of Chris. My condolences to the family, especially Tammy and Drew, as I would see you both all the time when I visited with my mother. And Fred, I have a special prayer for you. You helped to make Christina's time at Meadow Park a happy time, and vice versa. I have such fond memories of the four of you chatting, or in the garden, or watching your collection of movies. My deepest sympathy also for the daughter that took Chris to her London appointment. You are all in my thoughts.

My sincere sympathy is extended to Christine's family on her passing. I got to know Christine over a brief period of time last year as she and my mother, Ruby, were both residents of Meadowpark. Her commitment to and love of her family was what came through every time I got the opportunity to chat with her and I sure appreciated the way she took my mother under her wing during mealtime at the residence. My thoughts and prayers for the family will continue as you process the loss of your mother and reflect on your wonderful memories of her.
