So sorry for your loss. I lived in the village of Wilton and went to school with Morris. Will always remember those years in our two room school in the village and having to travel one year to a one room school for grade six. Then we had to take the bus to the big town of Odessa . A wonderful place to grow up!

Dearest Deb & Boys;
I had a very deep respect for Morris and we had on many occasions intense discussion(s) about life, agriculture, and our Lord. He inspired me on numerous occasions with his unceasing positive attitude and incredible passion & vision. It saddens me much to have lost his presence on this earth but I know deep in my heart that he is with our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. I can only imagine how much of a loss his passing is to Ontario Agriculture, Pioneer and all his friends and relatives. You have Jayne and my deepest and heartfelt sympathy. Once in a while God gives us people with passion and excitement that cant help but spread to others.It was a special meeting when Morris spoke,and he was one of my heroes.I am 63 and 26 year sales rep,and he was way to young for this life.

Some of the best conversations I had at the CCA Conferences was with Morris. And the neat thing was, they weren't all about agronomy. Morris had a wide range of interests and spoke fluently on all of them. He was also proud of his family, in love with his wife and enthused with his farm. Fully looking forward to retirement. When Christ said "I go to prepare a place for you", he wasn't kidding. I suspect they needed a top agronomist to help get things ready... I'll miss ya Moe...

I'm saddened to hear of Morris's passing. I knew him through my dealings with Pioneer as area agronomist to my agency in Seaforth. He had a wealth of knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for the agriculture industry. I was looking for a project for the Huron Soil & Crop improvement association. Morris suggested working with Ag. Canada to identify Soybean Cyst Nematode in Huron County. Needless to say, the study was successful and informed farmers about "the elephant" in the room or field. Please accept my sincerest condolences and best wishes to his family and friends.

What a shock, a fella so full of energy and passion. I learned so much from Morris and was always envious of his never ending want to learn and pass his knowledge forward, he was unselfish of himself, he always looked for improvement and opportunities for all farmers. I have never met anyone like Morris and I suspect I probably never will again, gosh...what a loss.
