Betty, our sincere condolences to you and all the family.
Bob was a great person, that we were fortunate to call " friend. " He was very much a gentle giant albeit with a great physical strength. Tom has never forgotten the day that he "walked " his car around ' Mac's ' all for the bet of one Pepsi and an Ice Cream Bar ! We also share many great memories of the " log sawing days," especially the the Hayward, Wisconsin championships. He will be missed but never forgotten!

Betty and family,
I was sad to hear of Bob's passing.
I have so many great memories of the times we had travelling and building silos. I still brag about some of the more memorable "Bob" strength exploits that I was a witness to. His brother Doug, Bob and I had some great times for a few years when we were definetly young and a little bit foolish.
He will always have a place in my memories.
Please keep me in mind when you have a celebration of his life..

My sincere condolences to Bob's family. I have many great memories of Bob, we built farm silos together. For sure the strongest man I have ever known. Also Bob was such a good person and friend. Just so nice and down to earth . I will never forget when Ford introduced the Mustang and Bob bought one and when he drove it down the main street of Thamesville for the first time. It was like a celebrity coming home...
