Riley: Leroy (aka WaabshkiMkwa), a resident of Walpole Island, died peacefully at the Chatham hospital on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the age of 62. Leroy is the loving son of the late Russell and Mary Lou (Thomas) Riley. He is the loved father of Cedric Kicknosway and the late Leroy Blackbird and the loving Papa to grandson, Malcolm Kicknosway. Dear brother of Barbara M. Riley, Leslie (Beverly), Anna (Gordon), Lyle (Barbara), Elaine Migwans (the late Alex), and Lawrence (Karen). Predeceased by sisters Jeanette (Pat), Eunice (Beanzy), and brothers Jimmy, Joey, and Melville.He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Leroy will be resting at 436 Austin Rd, WalpoIe Island on Monday evening and Tuesday. Funeral service will be held at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Highbanks Cemetery.
