It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Norman Dixon announce his sudden passing at his apartment in China on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the age of 26. Thomas was born July 10, 1991 in Wallaceburg. From an early age he loved all sports but golf became his passion. He could be found at Baldoon Golf Club with friends from dawn til dusk on most days rain or shine. In 2010 Thomas moved to China with his dad. He became fluent in Mandarin and was in his final year of university. Thomas's many friendships allowed him to visit numerous countries around the world. Thomas is the beloved son of Adrian Dixon (Sophie) and Mary Dixon (Brad Hunter). Dear brother and best friend of Matthew Dixon (Marissa) and Eric Dixon (Heather). Loving uncle to Carson, Claire and Troy Dixon. Much loved grandson of June Dixon and Norman Dixon (predeceased) of England. Thomas will be sadly missed by his uncles, aunts and cousins in England and in Canada, his lifelong Canadian friends and his many friends around the world. The Dixon family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Brian Horrobin officiating. Interment in Blackburn Cemetery, Dresden.

I'm totally lost for words and cannot imagine the pain that you are suffering. I remember Thomas very well as a wee boy and never got the pleasure of watching him become a man. I would've have liked to have spoken with him and to play a round of golf. My intentions are to come to Dresden on Monday for the funeral. I will see you then. Prayers for you, John
