I have had the privilege of meeting Dale quite few years ago when he became a customer at Napa in Wallaceburg. Dale was indeed a kind and gentle soul, always a pleasure to talk to and boy did he know his stuff. It was always an exciting time when Dale would bring in his truck after we picked out paint or to tell us..."it worked" or to show it off. I met his lovely wife Bonnie a few times when she would pop in to pick up parts for Dale. We hit it off immediately, like I had known her forever. I am so sorry to hear of Dales passing. May God help you through this difficult time.

I have the great privilege of being Dale's daughter Sarah's professor a few times & working with her on some projects ... Sarah is a beautiful woman and she has taught me alot about taking time to thank people and let them know what they mean to you. Sarah, Myself and James (student) collaborated on some King's videos last year and we got the chance to spend time with Dale and video tape him talking about all kinds of things including his pride in Sarah and her studies. He was a great dad.

What more can we say that hasn't already been expressed about Dale ,other than how extremely lucky we are to have had the opportunity to be friends with such an extraordinary man.

I feel having known Dale made me a better person. I felt he never wanted his wheelchair to hold him back from cruising a car show or swap meet or getting ice cream with Sarah. Dale was a man we looked upon as very strong, smart, kind,good husband and father. And even though you were not able to come to Texas as often as we would have liked the times we shared were precious and we will always hold close to our hearts. You are special friends.

As Dale's brother-in-law it was great honor to know his family (he now joins his parents and his sister) my wonderful wife Anne on their new adventures. I grieve with Bonnie, Sarah and Gary his brother and Ruth his sister-in-law for our loss. I rejoice in that Dale has use of his arms and legs once again and is likely hunting with his dad while the girls and preparing a Crittenden dinner once again. We will miss him but all of us are better off by knowing Dale. Godspeed.
