Obituary of Helen Szeremek

Szeremek: Helen (Yersh), formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the C.K.H.A. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the age of 88. Born in Poland, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Yersh. Beloved wife of the late John Szeremek (1984). Helen was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Thamesville and the C.W.L. Loving mother of Chris Walker-Smith (Mark) of Thamesville, Jan Szeremek (Debbie) of Chatham, Eugene Szeremek of Blenheim. Wonderful and devoted grandmother of Daniel Walker (Shanna Lynn MacDonald), Lindsay Hansen (Kyra), Taylor Walker, Ashley and Shalynn Szeremek, Bailey Walker and great-granddaughter Sydney Hansen. Dear sister of Walter Yersh (Irene) of Oakville. Sadly missed by her cousin John Towpik and niece Serena Yersh. Predeceased by her son-in-law Brian Walker (2004). The Szeremek family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayers will be held Monday evening at 6:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Thamesville on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11am. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Thamesville.
